About Jason Shawn Alexander
Jason Shawn Alexander is an expressionist figurative painter, illustrator, and comic book creator known for his moody, emotionally charged work. His art has been featured in solo exhibitions (including Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City), collected internationally, and even displayed in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
In comics, he’s earned multiple Eisner Award nominations and a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators, with credits across DC/Vertigo, Marvel, Dark Horse, and Image on titles such as Spawn, Killadelphia, Hellboy, Batman, Superman, Escapists, and Queen & Country. He has also contributed art and storyboards for film and motion comic projects, including Pan’s Labyrinth and Predators.
